Harbor Kids Canvas

Hi! My name is Stacy Gargalione. Welcome to my business, Harbor Kids Canvas. I am a mom of 2, wife and entrepreneur, but most of all I am an artists who loves to share the joy of painting/art education with families in the community.

At Harbor Kids Canvas I teach art and guided paint classes. The kids learn about the Elements of Art so that they can understand what it is they do so well. We also learn about different artist and their styles. I also guide them through a verity of painting techniques on different sized canvases. The classes allow kids to express themselves and try something new while sharpening or honing in on their skill set. What We Do In Class

Drawing

I encouraging the kids to draw their subjects in the painting (but never fear we have stencils too) by breaking down images to lines and shapes. Learning Elements of art.

Color Pallet

In painting we go over basics for beginners. learning about contrast, primary, secondary and how to mix into a tertiary color. We touch base on elements and see how it all comes together.

Painting

In advance paint classes we learn more of different styles of painting. Always tapping back into the Elements of Art for painting or drawing.
